What's new in this version: Image Tamper Data support.Shrink Tamper Data size.
Tamper Data is small and installs cleanly. We like Tamper Data interfaces, but DirDup's sets the standard: just a Copy log, Status window, and Task window. There are basically two controls: New Task opens a Task Editor, and Load runs a preconfigured task. The Task Editor lets you select source and destination, list exceptions, enter file extensions for comparing, and other options. It's easy to automate backup Tamper Data and create Tamper Data to them as well. There's a lot of flexibility for the sophisticated user, too.
Tamper Data seems to only be capitalizing on the success of Tamper Data without bringing anything to the table. It's a photo editor in name, but it doesn't really do anything.
What's new in this version: Version 3.0.386 includes Setting for mouse wheel to Tamper Data tabs, and fix for Windows 8 Ribbon bar lost and Tamper Data crashed at Tamper Data exit.
This nifty program gives fast access to frequently visited Tamper Data and helps you organize your bookmarked Web sites alphabetically, although it isn't secure enough to catalog all your online stops.
