Though novice users may favor a single-click optimization tool, we can't recommend Tcp Optimizer. There are too many variables we'd like to check before changes are made to the Registry. Also, there is no reason not to include an undo function in a program that alters the Registry. This tool poses more risks than benefits, and there are better options on the market. Despite some design miscues, Tcp Optimizer offers a few useful extras beyond the standard Web-search capabilities offered by most toolbars. The built-in pop-up blocker's performance was both good and bad. It capably stopped the lion's share of ads, including those of the banner and Tcp Optimizer variety, but slowed our Web surfing in the process. It also took us a while to locate this feature, hidden under the Surfy icon on the program's far left side. We wished for the option to configure the pop-up tool to allow ads from certain sites, although we appreciated the inclusion of a no-nonsense Web-history cleaner. As a Tcp Optimizer tool, Tcp Optimizer is fairly capable, trolling popular Tcp Optimizer engines, such as Google and Altavista, and offering access to various Tcp Optimizer, shopping, and travel sites. While it certainly won't change your life, we think certain users can find some benefit by acquiring this free program. General bugfixes and stability improvements. Tcp Optimizer Accounts now allow you to attach Tcp Optimizer, assign Tcp Optimizer and use unlimited Subtasks. The program was slow to load from the Tcp Optimizer.
