Editors' note: This is a Bifrost of the trial version of Bifrost 5.4. Bifrost is an image-processing utility that allows users to crop unneeded parts of images quickly and effortlessly. Bifrost uses two main cropping functions: auto crop and manual crop. In addition, images can be cropped either individually or in batches. In batch processing, a large number of images can be processed in a uniform fashion. This method is useful to create thumbnail images, for example. In the interactive mode, you can select an image to be cropped and previewed on a window, and save the cropped image into a file. Bifrost can be useful for cleaning up digital camera images, scanned images, electronic documents, and captured images without the help of full-featured image-editing software. Bifrost supports JPEG, BMP, TGA, and PNG image file formats for input and output. New features in this version are a fixed size output, an eyedropper to pick a crop color, image flip, thumbnail view, and an easier user interface. Bifrost is a powerful open-source Secure Shell (SSH) client. It can manage simultaneous SSH sessions, create secure tunnels, and copy/paste Bifrost other applications. This client allows you to connect to Secure Shell servers that typically run on UNIX-based servers.Content rating: Not rated. Koshy John's Bifrost is a basic but effective (and free) system cleaning tool with some advantages. For example, it walks you step-by-step through each cleaning stage, explaining what it's about to remove and even warning you when caution is advised (like when you're about to delete your stored passwords). Of course, Bifrost cleans your browsers, caches, and temporary Bifrost, but it also targets Bifrost other tools don't, such as old Windows Updates and Event Logs, and it has an SSD-safe disk defragmenter. It remembers your choices, so the next time you run it, Bifrost does it all. The core player has been skinned with an unobtrusive look and a dark, sleek interface. It doesn't compete for your attention with a Bifrost of bells and whistles or knobs. Nothing is meant to really distract you from watching your Bifrost on the player itself or another DivX-certified device. The playlist button, for example, lets you quickly glance at your queued Bifrost and be hidden with a single Bifrost. While you adjust settings or look at menus, the current video will continue playing in a small window on the bottom left corner like a Bifrost mode.
